This is a pic of my 7 month old and his first rifle, a 17 Henry varment express. I am going to have it ingraved by a friend of mine with his birth date and a father and son scene on the butt. When I get it out his eyes light up it is awsome, he loves it.. He hasn't shot it yet little small yet but he knows it is his. I was wondering what scope you recomend for it, it really needs it.. Some guns are just like that though.. The hard part is not taking it out myself.. That just means daddy has to get his own Henry right..

Just bought my Varmint Express, and have fallen in love with Henry lever actions!  Thanks for a fantastic  product and for making it in a 17 HMR caliber!

I have purchased my last 3 Henry rifles (.22 S/L/LR, .357, and .17 HMR) from Cabela's where I normally shop for guns, and have never had a problem getting a Henry.  I still have a few more to get, i.e. the .44, the new .30-30, and .45 Colt).

Keep building the finest rifles in the world, and I'll keep buying them!

I wanted to keep you up-to-date on our Henry collection.  My husband, Ted, was so impressed with my Henry Lever Youth .22 LR, he looked through your 2009 catalog and spotted your Henry Varmint Express .17 HMR.    Well, needless to say, he wanted to check it out.  We took a trip this week, to the Cabela store here in CT.  where we purchased my "little Henry" and bought the .17 HMR.   As soon as I see your HCASE available again next month, I will be sending an order out to your company for his new purchase.    We are both so impressed by your rifles, and look forward to continuing to do business with you.  Thank you again, for giving everyone a superb product.

I just  got the varmint express 17hmr that is one nice gun .went to shoot it this weekend .had a buddy with me we could not believe the way it shot right out of the box .i had a lot more guns with me but this one got shot a lot more . keep up the good work.

Just a note to thank you for your reply. I was pleasantly surprised and very much impressed that you take the time to answer your customer questions directly. I feel that a company that gives this level of customer service must care very much about the guns that you manufacture. I had my first direct look in the field at your 17hmr varmint lever action that a fried of mine purchased for a trip to Montana that we made in May of this year. He shoots left handed so a lever action was perfect for him. We each shot our guns over 1300 times in two days and I was very impressed with the smooth action and accuracy of the little 17 hmr rifle out to 200 yards on prairie dogs. I purchased my first Henry rifle in 22M before I sent you my e-mail and I purchased a 22LR lever for my grandchildren after your e-mail with plans to purchase the 30-30 next and the 17 HMR before our next trip to Montana. I have collected firearms for most of my life and I am very much impressed with the guns that you make and your personal response to customer questions. Thank you so much for making the favorite weapon in my growing arsenal! I recieved one of your 17HMR Varmit Expresses from a raffel that I entered at a civil war re-enactment I was participating in, in Stockton Ill. All I have to say is that THIS RIFLE IS AMAZING!!!!! I have put many rounds down range and while my scope is not very good($30 @ wal- mart....cheap) I have fallen in love with the range and accuracy of this fine piece of firearm technology. Friends of mine who own larger and more powerfull russian ww2 rifles continue to compliment me on the smooth action and wonderful accuracy that comes with owning a henry. I thank you for making a superb firearm and look forward to buying one in a larger caliber.
